Take the Elevator
This podcast is purely about elevating people through individual life stories and experiences in the Elevator. In the Elevator, what's key is maybe changing your perspective; having self-actualization; embracing your purpose; and acting on it as we grow from one another. There is a whole different point of view when you look up to elevate.

Spring cleaning sounds simple until you realize you’re not just sorting closets, you’re sorting your life. GentheBuilder and Kory kick off a spring reset that starts with a real health win, then widens into a bigger question we all need to ask: what feels heavy that used to feel light?
We talk about decluttering as a tool for clarity, not perfection. From there, we challenge the “everything is important” mindset and name the hidden cost of keeping too much, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’ll hear how we decide what stays, what goes, and why letting go can be an act of maturity, not loss.
Then we open the real junk drawer: mental clutter. Overthinking, analysis paralysis, and “junk mail” information can jam up your mind the same way clutter jams a drawer. We share practical ways to clear it, including brain dumps, separating facts from made-up stories, prayer walks, and boundaries that protect your focus. We also get honest about emotional weight, forgiveness, peace, and why spring invites renewal but not replay.
We wrap with calendar boundaries, energy management, and the idea of ease over force, plus a simple challenge to help you start today. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people can find Take the Elevator.
Look up, and let's elevate!
Welcome And Spring Reset
unknownEvery day. Elevate. Every day. Elevate. Every day.
SPEAKER_01Hey, it's Jen the Builder. And Corey. And welcome to Take the Elevator. I believe we're either first episode or second episode into spring.
SPEAKER_00Well, let me help you out there, Jen. It is definitely the first and the first of many, many more to come. Uh, not many more springs, but just definitely the first of the springs and many more episodes to come. How are you today?
SPEAKER_01I am fabulous. Thanks for asking. I appreciate that. Quick check-in with myself.
Jen’s Health Wins And Resilience
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. And that's always a good thing. Again, tell me about your past week and how your weekend's going.
SPEAKER_01Okay, first let me say what's good.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01I had a couple of doctors' appointments, and friends, I am telling you, my labs are normalizing. My body is normalizing. The reason why I went into this journey of intermittent fasting and going into feasting, and there's a lot more there. Um, it's happening, Corey. Like it is happening. I I couldn't even be more excited.
SPEAKER_00I think I could see the joy in your face.
SPEAKER_01I was just like, what? What I wasn't expecting it at the level that it was gonna be at. I have some work to do, but the body is so resilient. Like it just responds and wants to be healthy and well. And I am praising God for that.
Why Spring Feels Like New Year
SPEAKER_00Nice, nice. Ken, I'm so glad to hear that. I'm so happy that this journey is going the way you want it to go, going in the direction you want to go. Yeah. Uh we started out very early in this talking about the first uh episode in spring, and this is spring, and a lot of people do some things during spring that kind of helps them start anew, uh refresh their homes or themselves, their wardrobe, possibly their furniture in that way. And a lot of people tend to believe that spring originally was the first part of the year. So it was actually the beginning of the year in in some cultures and belief systems.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, isn't that something?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So it makes sense why spring cleaning happens in the beginning of the year.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01Right. Um I'm I was gonna ask you, Corey, how you're doing. Um, and I don't want to assume, but because we jumped right into it, I know this has been a big deal for you um going into the spring and just getting everything organized and together.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know, um, for me, uh I tend to lean into that this being more of the beginning of the year, because uh when it's winter time, people just don't want to do much of anything. And I think that was the mindset back in the day. And when I say back in the in the day, I mean like the before the calendar changed. Um uh do a little research on that. And and if you have questions or you have extra information, let me know. But I love to really get the house in order and in line in this time of the year because it's not too hot, it's not too cold, and you just feel really good about opening the windows and doors and getting all the dust out and you know, just finding all the cobwebs and the little buggies and stuff like that, because they they tend to hide when the house is closed up for a long time, you know?
From Clutter To Inner Alignment
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. So, in today's episode, we're gonna do a little bit of a play on spring cleaning and we're gonna go through it fast. So I hope y'all are ready for this because we're gonna talk about not just cleaning out our closets, but now spring cleaning our consciousness and seeing what's happening there, we're gonna shift from external order into an internal alignment. And honestly, Corey, I think sometimes it's a flip, like it's inside out work. And you'd asked me this morning, Jen, so far in your health journey, how would you describe this? One of the things I said it's inside out, and I think that's what we're experiencing too in our spring cleaning. And then just honoring the fact that spring usually is a natural reset. So it brings longer days, lighter energy, and new growth. And so, as we're thinking about spring cleaning, not just physically our homes, but what's happening within us in relationships, um, I think a big question, Corey, that really came up for us is what if this season isn't about doing more? Everyone knows Genko will do a lot, and maybe it's more about releasing more.
SPEAKER_00So And I and I and I say, hmm, like that because when you think about the the possibilities of not doing as much as you've been doing, it's a little daunting because you you in your mind you naturally think the more I do, the more outcome, the better outcome, the bigger outcome.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And that may not always be the truth. Sometimes the less you do because of what you've already done brings back more results.
Closet Purge Questions That Work
SPEAKER_01So I think our powerful question for this episode today is what feels heavy that used to feel light? Something to really think about. What is something heavy that you're carrying that maybe before used to feel light? And we'll start to spring clean that, if you will. Sure. All right, so let's talk about cleaning our physical space and what this has been like. Yeah, we feel like the less clutter, more clarity. Do you agree with that statement?
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, Jen. Um, and and again, as we started this journey in the cleaning of our home, what I noticed was we were just holding on to a lot of excess stuff. And when you hold on to excess stuff, it just keeps backbuilding and backbuilding. And before you know it, you don't have any space to really move around and grow. You you're just stuck with all this right.
SPEAKER_01It feels heavy. That's what we're talking about.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, another thought that I had while we were going through the process is if everything's important and it's a must-have, or you know, then nothing's sacred. Like, it's like this can't be everything that's important to us and that we have to hold on to.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Right. So I think what I've learned in this space, and I love it, because we do this every year, but it's always something. I think right now, decluttering our space in our lives gives me the ability to make clear decisions because it's not overwhelming and it's not heavy, and I'm not in this space where I'm feeling crowded. Right. You know, and I'm like, I need air.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So when we do clean, Corey, I don't know if everyone does this, but I think we have fun doing this because we'll go through our closet, and guys, we literally emptied out our closet six huge trash bags.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, the first question that came to my mind is do I really need this?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right? What about you?
SPEAKER_00First question. Well, there's a series of questions, so I'll just ramble them off real quick. When is the last time I seen this?
SPEAKER_01Huh?
SPEAKER_00When is the last time I've used this, worn this, made this useful for myself? And if if it's longer than a year, and it's not something extreme like a a winter coat, if it's something just you know, some ordinary apparel, then it's time for it to go. And if it's been longer than a year, I'm I'm really disciplining myself because I'm saying this is this is not good. You need to really purge this, get rid of it.
The Green Dress And Letting Go
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's good. Um, I love that you use a year for me. It felt like more like six months. Like if I haven't worn this in the last six months, what why am I holding on to this, right? Um, I have a story real quick to tell, and I think most women might understand this. There's this green dress in my closet, and the story behind it is there's this story that I love. And when you're a plus size woman, sometimes they don't have plus size sizes, right? And so um I went into the store, this was a while ago, and I was like, Corey, this is the cutest dress, it's this size, and look how it fits me. So I was so excited. Got the dress, wore it amazing, and then I had gained weight, and it was one of those things that sat in my closet, said, This is I'm gonna get back in this. Gold. This is a yes, this is a gold dress. Well, we hit our goals pretty quickly, and time passed, and I kind of forgot about getting back in that dress, and when I put it on, it was just awkwardly big. In fact, Corey said I look like a curtain, like I was dressed in a curtain, so obviously I'm not gonna wear that anymore. And I found it hard to let it go because it had meant something to me. But then I know this sounds really deep for a dress, but this is where we go, guys. Is does this holding on to this dress, does it reflect like who I want to be, or like why what is the deal, Jen? You're you've passed this size, which is great. Let it go. This is just not something that is part of your present or your future.
SPEAKER_00So, this is where I get to operate in both sides of my brain because there's the feminine side that I have to understand and what's happening in that.
SPEAKER_01You do it so well, by the way.
SPEAKER_00Just so I understand the sentimental attachment to it. Plus, you want it to try, you want it to wear it one more time before you let it go. And so when you do this, if you don't let it go, you allow the brain to say, maybe I might get back to that size, maybe I'll be able to get it altered, but not really wanting to alter it because it looks so good. And so there's things that that are attached to that thing that you're sentimental to. So it's important that you let it go, release it so that you can move on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And and don't look back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Don't don't don't reminisce.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Don't pretend like it's coming again, you know?
SPEAKER_01Exactly. And that's the example that we're talking about where something that used to feel light feels heavy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
Five-Item Challenge And Big Releases
SPEAKER_01Right. Um, I'm gonna ask you, Corey, because I have a mini challenge for our friends who are listening. Um, and I'll go ahead and say what it is, and then you could talk about it, is remove five items today or this week, sure. Whatever that looks like for you, that no longer align with your current season. So if spring is about reset and growth and getting lighter, whatever you've defined it to be, remove five items, whether they be physical items or maybe something that you a project you're working on, whatever that is, um, that no longer align with your current season. What are some items that you've removed?
SPEAKER_00Oh wow. Um, so if I'm gonna be transparent, which I really would like to do that with you and the listeners, um I I had to in my mind begin to sunset the thought and possibility of being in a band. And I and I've never said that out loud. Yeah, this is the first time I'm I'm I'm saying that. Um I I've I had to grow, I had to evolve, I had to make an adjustment, and I had to make that adjustment where it's clear to me that if I remain in this, it may do more harm than good. The shameless band served a purpose and I accomplished some things that I set out to do. I can I accomplished some things I I had no idea I could could uh accomplish, you know? And it felt really, really good, but I had to grow past that and evolve into something else. Um in my mind and in my heart, I feel like it's something better. I feel like it's something more mature, something that is going to move the needle in a greater direction. Um but yeah, so I I that's one of the things that was really heavy, but it's now light, and I'm able to dismount off of this and and hold my hands up high because I'm proud of myself.
SPEAKER_01Beautiful. And and people can't see you, but if they could see you, they'd see the language of feeling lighter, of relief, of contentment and satisfaction in the decision that's been made. Like it's good for you. You can see that. Yeah, right. Um, real quick, another example that Corey and I have done together, and we've talked about this before, is releasing the heaviness of the Disney magic keys, the heaviness financially, because let's be real, guys. Um, anytime I drive by a gas station, I'm like, Corey, did you know gas costs this much? And I feel like going to the grocery store now that the total amount due is higher. And so we've had to make decisions financially, and this is one of them. And we want to put more energy and more um financial backing in our own product, right? Disney's great, and that's fine, but there's a thing that we love called the fuzzy furry forest that requires more attention and time.
SPEAKER_00That thing is great, and so there's there's a part two to that, and I'd love to piggyback off of that if you let me. Um, so when we first started going to Disneyland and purchased their magic keys, um, there was a lot we were attempting to learn. Number one. Number two, uh we had to be in the right frame of mind to pursue the fuzzy furry forest in the right way. And there's just not a lot of elements out there that we could pick and choose from uh when it comes to the direction we're trying to grow in. And so Disney provided a space for us to imagine and dream and come up with some greater ideas. So uh it's time in that way as well, because we have accomplished the dreams and visions that we want to start pursuing for the fuzzy furry forest.
Clearing Mental Junk Drawers
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. So I think this segues beautifully into clearing your junk drawer, if you will. I think in this house we have two.
SPEAKER_00I got two myself, so then that would be four.
SPEAKER_01Okay, because the two that I'm talking about, I feel like family junk drawers, but you've we've got a total of four. Um, and so when I think of the junk drawer, I just think of mental clutter. Yes. Uh, and it's when we think about spring cleaning our minds, this could look like overthinking. And man, I think that's an episode in itself. What happens when we overthink? We talk about analysis, paralysis, right? That can happen. And then also unfinished loops and maybe just some internal noise. So when you think of that junk drawer, and I've had junk drawers in the past where drawers have gotten messed up because they've just been so heavy. Yeah. Has that happened to you? Oh, yeah. Like I think that's happened to everyone. The bottom of it falls out, or the railing falls off. That's right. Or you can't open it because something's jammed in there.
SPEAKER_00It's something fell out of the back and you can't shut the drawer all the way. Yeah. All the way.
SPEAKER_01Or we have things or mail comes in, or oh, I need to look at this and look at it later. So we put it in there, right? So, and thinking about that, this is where one of the tools I use is a brain dump. Get it out of your head, go through the drawer, see what it is, throw away what's not needed, spend time with what is needed, and just name it for what it is and sort it out. So the way this works for naming thoughts is like this if I'm overthinking and I've created all these stories, I'm really great about that, um, is a recognizing this is a worry or this is made up, this hasn't happened yet. And over here, these are facts. So I'm gonna stay with the facts, right? And let go of the things that I've made up. Does that make sense?
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01How do you clear your junk drawer?
SPEAKER_00So um, I'm glad you asked that, and I was hoping you asked that because I didn't want to just volunteer. You know, you want to kind of be asked, yeah, you know, how how do you feel about this? So um, you know, Jen, I've been really leaning heavily into my faith. And so the prayer walk is is a really good way for me to empty some of those drawers, mental drawers. And when I'm on those walks and I'm having that conversation, or I'm just in intense prayer, um, what it's allowing me to do is just pushing that delete button, and it's nothing like that stuff. Delete, yeah, it's gone, it's gone. And so I I just really enjoy that and I look forward to it from time to time, and then sometimes I forget and I'm like, man, I got a lot on my mind, and then I go, Oh, got that little walk I need to take. Yeah, start deleting some of this junk, all the junk mail, all the useful stuff that comes into the inbox. That's right.
SPEAKER_01Because not every thought deserves a seat at the table, no, truly. Um, and so Vika, a great question to what you've already answered is like what thoughts have I been carrying that needs to be released? Yeah. Right. And what a no better way to do that release than in prayer, I feel, and just leave it.
SPEAKER_00And I want to say this too. Um, how many times have we been on a website that we thought we really needed to get something, or we thought maybe, or we we might have even purchased something and it said, would would you like to sign up on this email list and receive a 20% discount or a 15% discount? And you're like, Well, yeah, I want to save some money, but what you didn't know is is that because you gave your email, you're gonna get an email every week for the rest of your life, and so all these emails keep showing up. And a lot of times people do the same thing, they're not asking for your email, but they're just giving you information that you don't need, don't want, and don't want to utilize. And you got to figure out how to get rid of all this junk mail or junk information that someone keeps delivering you. Yes, and so that's another reason for the prayer walk because sometimes you have to say to people, hey, I I I really appreciate the conversation, but this is not what I need right now. Yeah, I I'm on something totally different. I know you want to talk about A, B, and C, but it's preventing me from thinking about what I'm trying to do.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00I'm trying to change the world, I'm trying to build a company, I'm trying to raise my family, whatever that may be. And so it's important to be able to delete these things in your time of spring cleaning.
Forgiveness Peace And Releasing Replay
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And that reminds me of our next step where or next part of this is where you clear emotional weight.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Right. Um I think there's truth in the fact that you can't grow in spaces that we've we refuse to clear. Because, like we said earlier, it just becomes so compact and so overwhelming and heavy. Um for me, when I think about this part as far as clearing emotional weight, Corey, and we've shared our stories a few times here. The words forgiveness and peace come to my mind a lot. And what's helped me is that when I forgive someone, I'm not approving of what they've done, but I'm releasing it because it's not mine to carry. And that has been so valuable and precious to me in life to know that I don't have to carry this emotional weight. I I'm gonna clear it. So I think when we talk about spring invites renewal, I want to emphasize that spring does not mean replay.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Right? So renewal is one thing, replaying is another. And maybe it's release the replay.
SPEAKER_00I never thought about that one. But that that could really have a a big impact on on a lot of people. I say that because um how many times do we tell ourselves the same story over and over and over and over and over and over and over? Right. How many times do we relive that bad experience over and over and over and over? And I wish I had said this, and I wish I had said that, and I could have said this, and if I had said this, then then this wouldn't have went this way, and then I could have added, and that just puts you in this cluttered frame of mind, and it just seems like that story is on repeat all the time in the back of our heads.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, totally. And and by the way, forgiveness doesn't mean just towards other people but yourself, first and foremost. Maybe there's a story, or maybe there's a regret that you've been holding on to, and it's time to let that go. Or on the same token of resentment, you know, when I work with leaders, I say you when you walk into the room, we carry who we are with us, and part of what we carry, aside from upbringing and biases and things like that, is we have stories of regret, and we also have stories of resilience.
SPEAKER_00And that's kind of what I was leaning into, Jen, because uh what we don't seem to understand, our bodies are not designed to differentiate this clutter, it's it's not designed to put things in compartments so that it's separate from the good stuff, the bad stuff, the good stuff, the indifferent stuff, all live in the same space. That's right.
SPEAKER_01You don't have the ability to stress is stress in and all.
SPEAKER_00You don't have the ability to hold on to stress, but in a place where it won't hurt you or harm you. So you have to get used to getting rid of that stress and letting it go for good. If you're still hung up on what happened to you at 12 years old, being bullied, I'm talking about me, uh, being uh pushed around and and and things going wrong in your family, then that's where you'll live. And every room you walk in, you're carrying that 12-year-old kid and and trying to protect that 12-year-old kid in your 50.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00So we have to, and and guys, I'm I'm being so passionate about this because it's imperative that we let this go and enjoy our lives. There's so much life to enjoy.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes, and your story is not mine to tell, but I know real time in being your wife and you being my husband, we know some of those shadows that continue to cast, and you really have to call them out. Like, I'm not being bullied, I'm not being abused. This is I am safe right now, I'm not in danger. Yeah, there's no imminent threat.
SPEAKER_00Right, right.
SPEAKER_01And just clear that because man, there is so much out there, guys. When we hold on to stress and that becomes our natural response again, your body doesn't know, like, oh, this is a less stressful situation, oh, this is uh, you know, a more intense one, um, the ramifications on the body are so intense and severe. And that's why I just believe that these spaces of forgiveness and peace is necessary. Yeah, necessary. Okay.
SPEAKER_00And and one more thing, I must throw this out there. So if you start experiencing uh would you call it uh analysis paralysis?
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yes.
SPEAKER_00If you start experiencing that, that's where you're analyzing something so crazy tough that you're not able to move on. If you're starting to have horrific, horrible dreams about things and it's just really starting to smother you, that that could be an indicator that you're holding on to something. Yeah. If you're experiencing knots in your body, and now if it's something you know bigger than that, please go see a physician. And and and I'm just giving you some indicators. I'm not saying this is a complete diagnosis, um, but when you start feeling those stress things, you might be holding on to something that you just should go ahead and let go.
Calendar Boundaries And Protecting Energy
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Tension release. Even when you say that word release, the exhale and the anyways. Um we're gonna talk now about clearing your calendar. Corey, you mentioned earlier just that um way of living of being in extremely productive and seeing that as purpose, maybe, or you know, I'm doing this, I'm I'm moving the needle. Let's talk about that. Clearing your calendar and your commitments. I think the theme for us here is really protecting our energy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01All right. Busyness does not equal purpose or production. Yes, yes. Um, and we firmly believe that every time we say yes to something, it's saying no to something else. So again, by saying yes to this, what am I saying no to? Or if I say no to this, what am I actually saying yes to?
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Right. Um I think it's important here as you're figuring out how to protect your energy. Some questions that you can ask yourself is like, does this align with my values? Is it supporting who I want to become? Is this energizing me or is it draining me? Huge indicator.
SPEAKER_00Ding, ding, ding, ding. That part right there. It's draining me. I have no energy. I feel like I'm always going, I'm always stressed, I'm always worried. And if it's that, then that's when it's time to let it go.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Let's, you know, when you started this episode or when we did, you asked me how has my week been? And I could have listed all the things, but just thinking this past week, Corey, what's some what are some things that you've implemented that have energized you?
SPEAKER_00Well, well, again, you know, I and I hate to be the the one so excited to share, but I am. I'm just, you know, um, I found myself not worried about so many things. It was so much off of my plate right now. Um, Jen took over for us with our illustrator, so I don't have to worry about that. Uh, the the new plushie maker is on top of it, like communicates like a dream and is so understanding with what we're asking for.
SPEAKER_01So that and I, if I may, I'm sorry to interrupt you. I feel she they match our energy level, like their excitement is comparable to ours for this stuff, right?
SPEAKER_00Right. So that that helps. Um, again, the the rehearsals were driving me crazy. That was an hour two and an hour back, just in rehearsal time. That's not the two hours in rehearsal. So you're talking about four hours of your life that you're just not gonna get back. Was it great four hours? Sometimes, a lot of times, no. I mean, there was other things going on, but uh that that has helped uh a great deal. And then when you're when you're in a relationship, and and you know, Jen, I I would never say we're perfect. We have the most in we have a great relationship. Yes, a great one, but it's not perfect. But when things are going really, really, really good, we we just drill down. I mean, we we're locked. We enjoy every second, every millisecond of the goodness. We we don't waste time trying to get to the next, we just bask in it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So that yeah, that that's that's what I wanted to share.
SPEAKER_01I love it. One of the things that I think of too, uh, as far as what energizes me, obviously, exercise. And I'm gonna let y'all in in a little secret here. When Corey and I work out at a particular gym, believe it or not, sometimes we're in there alone. It's quite magnificent because magnanimous. Yeah, you can just, you know, do what you need to do in there. And sometimes when I go to the gym, I kind of worry like uh being looked at. You know, it's just not as comfortable as when you're in there by yourselves. And Corey and I will do some of our exercises, functional uh strength training, and then the middle of it we'll like walk laps around the gym. Um, it that not only energizes me, but it I just think it's so cute. Like Corey and I will walk sometimes together and we'll just kind of tap each other's hands or just like look at each other. Um, although it's a look of love, I feel it's like a look of I see you and we're doing it, and isn't this great? Yeah, you know, yeah, because I think one of the questions I ask myself in clearing my calendar and and making firm decisions on my commitments is this um supporting who I am in this season. Is this how is this does this make sense for what I'm in or where I'm trying to be versus or is this a past version of me?
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that just helps me so much in this journey of life period. Just the asking that question of myself.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I I want to talk about that so much, but I think I think that's uh definitely for another episode.
SPEAKER_01Uh what the love taps? No, no, no.
SPEAKER_00I mean, that is what it is. Uh just understanding how sometimes your your journey with your your partner, your mate, your spouse is um one of those things that if you're trying to do your journey by yourself, it's scary for me. And when I say scary, I don't mean I'm scared to travel alone or be alone. I mean I understand that I made a commitment and a vow to this woman. And I also understand that she's gonna be a big part of that. So why would I try to make her not a part of that so that I can do some journey in myself? Yeah, it defeats the purpose. So I I think we would we really need to probably attack that.
What We Plant After We Clear
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that would be a great episode. Yeah, love that. So we're gonna end with this last point that spring cleaning, it's just not about cleaning, it's actually what we're planting or what we're replacing with, right? So I love nature and we learn so much from it. So nature just doesn't remove it, it replaces it. And I feel that what you remove in our spring cleaning and all the things that we've talked about makes space for what you need. And there's a difference between what you want, what you feel like you need to have, what you're so used to carrying versus what you need.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. I I definitely agree. And there's a lot of things that we just didn't need, and so we got rid of them, and we we have space for the things that are needed, and and I really want to share some stuff, but I just I want to wait till we're we're about about to launch some of the really fun things that we're about to launch. Okay, and so um just know we have a lot of really good things coming up for you guys as far as episodes, as far as as material and content, and then on the on the book side, we're we're just we're just gonna be really active in a way that's not gonna be so taxing to us. It's gonna be more relaxing for us. Um, and then we're gonna be in spaces that we've never been in before. And that's very encouraging. I'm looking so forward to that and bringing that to you and sharing with you, and hopefully we can see you guys out there sometime.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I love that you said that, Corey, because we are so intentional about what we're planting, right? And that it matters. So when you say that we let things go and we have things on calendar, things that we're being intentional about, I feel like that really speaks to a new rhythm where it's ease over force. Oh, that's huge too. When it's something just happens with ease and you're not fighting it, and um, it's not so much pressure, but instead you're feeling more present in it. I think those are really good indicators on what you're planting. Right. And those are things you should plant. Um, we've talked about changing your mindset, right? Thinking about possibility instead of this isn't possible. Just think about what could happen if I did this. Um, and we're huge on new habits or re you know, replacing old habits or just tweaking it a bit, making them small and consistent. I can't even begin to say how much those small shifts that you all do start to elevate you today, right? It becomes transformational, and we could just create this amazing list of all the small things that equal big impact. Big, big yeah. So let's go ahead and wrap this up because we know that you all have a day to get to and a whole week to get through. Um, just remember spring cleaning, this is not about perfection, it's about permission. And this permission is the permission to let go, to start fresh, and become lighter.
Closing Thoughts And Elevate
SPEAKER_00And I'm so glad you said it's not about perfection, it's not about spotlessness, and it's not about so clean that you don't see any dust or blemishes. Sometimes those are going to exist no matter what.
SPEAKER_01Yep. Well, you know us that take the elevator. We say, look up and let's elevate every day, elevate every day, elevate every day, elevate.
